I chose Wayne State to achieve my professional degree because from the first moment I was here on campus, as a junior in high school for a math competition, as nerdy as that sounds, I just felt at home.

You can do medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, nursing, dentistry, dental hygiene, are just some of the programs that you can take, pre-professional study here.

Facilities at Wayne State, in the sciences, are state-of-the-art. So all the labs are new, safety equipment is new. And we have all PhD professors teaching the programs.

The rural health opportunities program is put in place to help students who are from Nebraska, and more specifically, rural areas in Nebraska. I think the biggest thing that you're given in it, is you're given automatic acceptance into UNMC, which is really the biggest thing that I was really looking forward to when I got into the program, was that it was almost just a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.

The Wayne State College, in this agreement, is putting a lot-- you know, investing a lot into you, and they want to see you succeed. They don't want to see you fail. And they are going to try their hardest.
